The holiday season is such a magical time of year! This year we are so grateful to be able to share the connection our Makers have made with their families this season. In Their OWN WORDs:
A Thoughtful Holiday Gathering
"I ordered the MyIntent Maker Kit for our Thanksgiving celebration. I emailed everyone beforehand with the video from the Today Show and told them to think about their WORD. It was such a great experience that I ordered more bracelets. We plan to bring the kit to our Christmas celebration with my husbands family...all 30 of them!" - Jennifer S.
"We used this as an activity with our family on Thanksgiving. It was so much fun discussing our WORDs and why we picked them. I helped make almost 30 bracelets that day." - Elizabeth D.
"We lost our only child this past July, and we knew Thanksgiving would be especially hard for us and our extended family. I saw this online and immediately placed an order. It was the perfect project. We all sat and thought about my son and each came up with our own WORD to stamp to remember Zach. It took what would have been a very somber day and turned it into a time of fun stories and grateful memories." - Julie B.
Sharing New Stories
"I purchased one of the MyIntent packages for Thanksgiving thinking it would be a terrific way to get my family talking on a deeper level. It was amazing! The conversation cards got everyone sharing sweet, funny and thought provoking memories and stories, including one my mother in law told us about meeting Oprah that NONE of us knew about! Making the bracelets is easy and everyone left feeling very loved and listened to!" - Sara H.
"I purchased this and made it part of our Thanksgiving reflection. It was awesome to hear what each person chose as their word and what their intent meant to them. It was the perfect way to "give thanks" this year and we really working the cards." - Nadine C.
Making Abundant Memories
"On Thanksgiving Day my family visited my mom. I asked her what her WORD would be. She chose ABUNDANT LIFE. She said it's in the Bible and it's what she wants most. The term "abundant life" comes from the Bible verse John 10:10b, "I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly." "More abundantly" means to have a superabundance of a thing. "Abundant life" refers to life in its abounding fullness of joy and strength for mind, body, and soul." - Lisa E.
"I had a MyIntent party with my girlfriends and gifted them a bracelet. They were so grateful and blown away. The next day I received so many text messages filled with gratitude for sharing this amazing movement!!" - Gina G.
Gather around the Christmas tree and ask your loved ones for their WORD!
