Move your body, connect to your heart, grab your journal, and get ready for massive self-transformation! This class is designed to give you a full-body stretch and allow you to reflect on your values and intentions to set you up for a successful day.
Props: Yoga blocks, straps, bolsters can be helpful but are optional. Don’t have blocks, straps, or a bolster? No problem a thick book (block) belt (strap) pillow (bolster) can be used.
With over 9 years of practice and 6 years of teaching Valerie’s Intentional yoga classes are challenging to the body, yet relaxing and freeing to the mind. With the focus of setting intentions students are able to receive a mind, body, soul connection to themselves. These classes are specialized for all different levels, as she will be giving modifications to meet individual needs of anyone ranging from the newbie yogi to any seasonal practitioner. Val’s osteopathic technique on the body teaches students proper alignment making sure students feel confident yet comfortable and safe throughout their practice.
