This has been a year full of unexpected twists and turns and with the cold weather coming in, the holiday season is just around the corner! Thanksgiving is one of our favorite times of year. It is a time to gather as a family or group of friends, share a meal, holiday traditions, and most of all, gratitude! With technology and a bit of creativity, we are ready to help you create mindful connection for an unforgettable Thanksgiving!

Planning

Create a plan with your family on how you'll be celebrating Thanksgiving this year. Maybe it's a smaller, household only, Thanksgiving; a virtual Thanksgiving with extended family; or even a socially distanced, masked, outdoor gathering. This year is a great opportunity to get creative with the whole family! You can share recipes, send care packages, and even plan on having the same decorations to feel even more connected.

Mention in your plans that you will be making personalized MyIntent bracelets as a group activity. This will get your guests excited and to start thinking of their WORD! Feel free to include this Today Show feature about MyIntent so they have some background on the activity.

Thanksgiving Day

Whether you are connecting with your loved ones before or after dinner, here are tips from our founder, Chris Pan, on how to help someone find Their WORD.

Go around and invite guests to share their WORD and why. Of course guests can pass if they need more time to find their WORD.

Tip: Lead your guests through a brief exercise where you invite them to close their eyes, take a couple of deep breaths, and take them through our 3 prompt questions:

- What virtue do you want more of?

- What is a challenge you want to overcome?

- What are you passionate about and want to spend more time on?

After the Celebration
